Regina Shapiro

Regina Shapiro joined DataWing Software in February 2010 as the Sr. Account Manager. Regina was a very quick study of the new HealthCare specific process’ and terminology. Coming from a background of enterprise sales for software tools for software developers with a special emphasis in Process & Methodologies, she has quickly understood the health care processes and challenges in the managed care world. Promoting her to Director of Business Development in May 2011 was recognition of her outstanding contribution at DataWing Software. She is passionate about the success of our clients, and believes that these solutions make a difference not only to our clients, but the membership they support. Having a family health related struggle a few years ago, Regina hopes that her contribution here will save other parents the challenge of understanding their eligibility and benefit coverage.
A graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Regina has had diverse professional experience. Spending close to ten years in fine wine sales, then moving to technology with a focus on software sales, her previous employers include IBM, LBMS, Remedy, Peregrine Systems, Serena Software, and Pretzel Logic, all software solutions sales that focus on the development process. In addition to her software sales background, Regina was also actively engaged in with client process review and improvements while working in technology consulting for Case Associates. In her spare time, Regina’s passion is focused on preservation of the original bloodlines and the Foundation Appaloosa Horse breeding program she and her husband run. She enjoys spending time in the saddle, that is her re-creation. She also has great pride in her children and their success’.
